Hillsborough County, Florida contracted with ISF for expert advice and guidance, industry knowledge, and assistance in support of the County’s need for the upgrade of their Next Generation 911 (NG911) system. The County was running an older version of the NG911 system and needed to produce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified vendors to conduct upgrade and enhancement tasks.
The ISF Team provided expert consultants to conduct a gap analysis of the County’s current system and newer NG911. ISF also reviewed the plans and ensured that needed enhancements adhere to the National Emergency Number Association’s (NENA) standards and practices.
Based on the gap analysis, ISF provided advisory services to ensure adherence to the County’s plan and assist in producing an RFP. Additionally, ISF worked with the County and selected vendor to provide support services during system implementation.
