ISF is currently hosting Toastmasters meetings at its Tallahassee office. Toastmasters is a communication and leadership development not-profit organization for participants to improve their public speaking and management skills.
Toastmasters meet every 2nd and 4th Monday of every month, from 6:00-7:00 PM. ISF hosts the meetings at its office at 1203 Governors Square Boulevard, Suite 500, Tallahassee FL, 32301. ISF encourages all business owners, professionals, and students to join in on the meetings, coming up on June 9th and 23rd.
Tammy Young, an ISF Client Partner, is ISF’s host. “Toastmasters is a very laidback, no-pressure atmosphere for you to hone in your public speaking and leadership skills. Everyone involved values each other’s feedback. We want one another to succeed and get better because the whole group benefits. It’s really a great time.”
Toastmasters meetings do not come with an instructor. Instead, members rotate in leading the meetings. Typical meetings involve taking turns in leading the group, discussing assigned topics, practicing presentations, grammar, and parliamentary procedures.
