ISF received an “excellent” rating for its most recent Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) assessment for the General Services Administration (GSA) federal contract. The assessment initiative of GSA evaluates how well contractors manage and fulfill contractual requirements.
The GSA uses the report cards as part of a review of a contractor’s past performance. MAS contracting officers evaluate ISF’s improvements between the midterm and contract expiration report cards. The report cards deal strictly with performance against MAS terms and conditions and are visible only to GSA and ISF. The ratings reflect how well ISF complied with specific contract performance standards developed by the GSA such as meeting minimum sales criteria, prompt payments, and processes in place to monitor basis-of-award pricing for customer discount relationships.
Tammy Young, ISF’s Business Development Coordinator, marshalled the GSA evaluation through to receive the “excellent” rating. ISF’s CEO, Cyndy Loomis, stated, “Clearly, this is outstanding. Receiving this rating is not an easy task.”
GSA is the central authority for the acquisition and management of federal government resources. GSA assists with the procurement process for federal government agencies to purchase goods and services. Contracting with GSA allows ISF to set a pre-negotiated contract and price list, providing a more streamlined and efficient approach for government agencies purchasing services in the information technology arena.
