ISF’s business process analysis effort provided high-level process mapping along with recommendations for improvement of the licensing lifecycle for two license types, which are as follows:

  • The Industrialized Housing and Buildings Certified Manufacturer
  • The Third-Party Inspector

As part of our collaborative project approach, ISF conducted thorough reviews of process workflow documentation, held insightful interviews with SMEs to gather detailed workflow requirements, and subsequently documented business process maps with accompanying narrative and process tables. ISF held follow-up validation sessions with stakeholders for quality assurance and then analyzed each process to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. ISF then hosted a final executive briefing with TDLR Executives to present findings and recommendations.

Impact and Outcomes

Efficiency Improvements: Helped TDLR leadership identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and bottlenecks.

Enhanced Communication: Improved communication among team members and stakeholders, leading to increased collaboration and understanding of the workflow.

Informed Decision-Making: Enabled TDLR to make more informed decisions about resource allocation, technology adoption (their next-gen system), and process improvement initiatives.
